About theButler.network
The concierge, explained.
theButler.network is concierge commerce. Edwin advises on what to buy, then compares current merchant prices before you spend a cent.
How it works
Advice first. Prices second. In that order, always.
Edwin is a persona, not a mascot. One standard of judgment applied to everything this site recommends, whatever the category.
- 01You describe the decision. A TV for the living room, an espresso machine, a gift for someone who loves grilling. You talk to Edwin the way you would talk to a knowledgeable friend, not a search box.
- 02He chooses. What fits and nothing that does not. He would rather show three products than pad the list to eight, and he says so when the honest answer is “nothing at all”.
- 03He checks prices. Every recommendation comes with current merchant prices from retailer feeds, compared across stores and updated daily, so the last question, where to buy, answers itself.
Transparency
The business model, in plain sight.
When you buy through one of Edwin’s links, the retailer may pay this site a commission. That is the entire business model. Referral links are disclosed, they cost you nothing extra, and they never decide what Edwin recommends.
That last point is not a promise, it is how the software is built. The candidate list Edwin picks from carries five fields per product, and that is the whole list:
What Edwin sees when he chooses
id · title · brand · price · categoryNo retailer. No commission. No partner status. Those values are never passed in, so there is nothing to weigh even if we wanted to.
Just as important is what the model is not:
What the model is not
no coupon codes · no cashback · no sponsored placements · no incentivized clicks · no browser extension · no selling your dataEdwin is an AI. His assessments and the product pages on this site are machine generated. They are careful but not infallible, and prices can change between the moment he checks and the moment you click.
