Hello, I'm Edwin. You need dog supplies — just say what kind of dog lives with you, and we can work through it together.
Choosing dog supplies: size, age, habits
Weight and age settle size and durability for most products; habits settle the rest — a dog that pulls needs a different harness from one that runs beside a bike. Edwin is an AI advisor and does not replace veterinary advice.
- For harnesses and collars, chest and neck circumference count, not the breed. Measuring is more reliable than any size chart.
- Chews and toys are chosen by jaw size and bite strength. Too small is a choking risk.
- When changing food, mix it in slowly over several days, or the stomach fights back.
- On health questions, the vet decides. Products do not replace an examination.
Collar or harness?
A harness spreads the pull across the chest and is gentler on dogs that pull. A collar is fine for dogs that walk on a loose lead. Either has to fit properly to do anything.
How do I get the size right?
From measured circumferences, not from the breed. Two dogs of the same breed can have very different measurements — the tape beats the assumption.
Where do the prices come from?
From merchant feeds, updated daily. Without a feed price for your market, none is shown.
