Hello, I'm Edwin. You're after skincare — tell me how your skin feels over the course of a day, and we'll narrow it down together.
Choosing skincare: skin type before active ingredient
Skin type decides which texture is even in the running; only after that do individual actives matter. Edwin is an AI advisor and does not replace dermatological advice — persistent skin problems belong in a clinic.
- Dry skin takes richer textures, oily skin needs light ones — the same active usually exists in both formulations.
- Introduce new actives one at a time, not as a whole routine. Otherwise a reaction cannot be traced to a product.
- Fragrance is the most common cause of irritation on sensitive skin, regardless of what the product costs.
- Sun protection is the part of a routine with the clearest benefit, and it often decides whether other actives are worth using at all.
How do I find my skin type?
Watch your skin a few hours after cleansing with nothing applied: if it feels tight, it leans dry; if the forehead and nose shine, it leans oily; both at once is combination skin.
Can Edwin tell me whether a product will suit me?
No. Edwin is an AI system and does not know your skin. He can narrow the field from what you tell him; tolerance only shows on your own face, ideally starting with a small test area.
Where do the prices come from?
From merchant product feeds, updated daily. Without a feed price for your market, no price is shown.
